Started off Design Drafting in my senior year of high school back about 83ish where there was no CAD so I had to hand draft a particular part which I was told it was one of the toughest parts to draw. I aced it.
Fast forward to about 1992 after serving some time in the USN as an ABH, working on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier for 4 years. I enrolled in a tech shool for Mechanical Drafting in which I earned an Associates Degree.
I have been doing Mechanical drafting for well over 30 years now. Mostly in the MEP and Temperature Controls in the industry, I have my initials on drawing from the Amphibious Habitat at the Denver zoo to the Natural History Museum in San Diego and now day working on Corrosion Control systems throughout Las Vegas, Phoenix and San Diego protecting the waterlines and those huge water tanks you see while driving through the cities.
Also taught myself Microstation because a lot of city projects required Microstation
